Experience a unique kitesurfing adventure in Los Roques, one of the most stunning destinations in the world. Each day, you’ll go on kite safaris, sailing from island to island through crystal-clear waters, surrounded by turtles, manta rays, colorful fish, and birds along the way.

These are days with perfect wind for kitesurfing, exploring incredible landscapes, and sharing the passion for the sport in a fun and friendly community. Between sailing, beach sunsets, great music, and Caribbean food, you’ll find the perfect balance of adrenaline and relaxation.

THE LOCATION

Los Roques Archipelago National Park, made up of over 300 islands, cays, and sandbanks, is considered one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Its white sandy beaches and unique natural surroundings make it a paradise for sea lovers. On the main island, Gran Roque, life moves at a relaxed pace in a small fishing village with sandy streets, cozy inns, and local shops that keep the true Caribbean spirit alive.

ACCOMMODATION

Posada Casa Play Los Roques is located in the heart of Gran Roque. This cozy lodge has 8 rooms and combines adventure with comfort for a unique Los Roques experience.

Our rooms come with air conditioning, a fan, hot water, a safe, a private bathroom, Starlink satellite internet, and amenities to make sure you have everything you need. For your peace of mind, we also have a backup generator to ensure your comfort even during a power outage.

GASTRONOMY

All meals are included, making them an essential part of the experience. Every day, we combine fresh, local ingredients with a Caribbean touch, served right by the sea.

Mornings start with fruit, bread, and freshly brewed coffee to fuel your day. Lunches are packed as light, practical cooler meals, perfect to enjoy during classes and excursions. Evenings end with creative dishes featuring the island’s freshest fish and seafood. 

 

And between sessions, you’ll always find tasty snacks and local bites to keep you going.

RUKI

​Jyosber Raaz, better known as Ruki, is a Venezuelan kitesurfer, born in Caracas and raised in Adícora, Falcón. He started kitesurfing in 2013 and began his career as an instructor two years later. Today, he is Head Instructor at the Play Los Roques kite school and has extensive experience teaching kitesurfing, stand up paddle, kite foil, wing foil, and surfing.

FELIPE

Felipe Zuluaga is a Venezuelan kitesurfer, born in Barquisimeto, and raised in Mérida. He is 30 years old and has been living in Los Roques since 2012. He has been part of the Play Los Roques team since 2022 and has 8 years of experience as a kitesurf instructor. He also teaches stand up paddle and wakeboard, and in his free time he enjoys kitesurfing, kite foil, and wing foil, activities that show his passion for the sea and water sports.

SEBASTIÁN

Sebastián González is a Venezuelan kitesurfer, born in Margarita, Nueva Esparta. He is 19 years old and has been living in Los Roques since 2020. He joined the Play Los Roques team in 2023 and has 4 years of experience in kitesurfing, including 3 years as an instructor. He also teaches wakeboard and paddle board. He practices kitesurf, surf, kite foil, wing foil, and windsurf, showing his versatility and passion for water sports.

LOS ROQUES

HOW TO GET TO LOS ROQUES

Reaching this paradise is easier than you might think. You can get here either by air or sea. Currently, four airlines operate flights to the Los Roques Archipelago: AeroCaribe, Sasca Airlines, Conviasa, and Blue Star. All flights depart from Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, and the journey takes about one hour.

​

If you prefer to travel by sea, there’s also the option of taking a ferry from La Guaira, with a travel time of approximately 5 to 6 hours.

​

​When you book one of our packages at Play Los Roques, we’ll take care of arranging your flights to the islands, making sure your journey is smooth and worry-free.
